Mława police are investigating a traffic accident that occurred yesterday (April 28th) at a pedestrian crossing in central Mława. Two injured residents of the Mława district, aged 14 and 16, were transported to the hospital in Ciechanów.
The incident took place after 2:00 PM during peak traffic on Warszawska Street in Mława, near the intersection with 18 Stycznia Street. Preliminary findings indicate that the driver of a Citroen, a 39-year-old resident of Mława, failed to yield to the girls crossing the street.
The driver immediately notified emergency services and was confirmed to be sober. The injured pedestrians were taken to Ciechanów hospital with bodily injuries. A detailed investigation into the circumstances and cause of the accident is ongoing, led by the Mława Police Department.
