Incident at Western Station

On November 1, a 45‑year‑old man approached the Ochota police station and reported that, while waiting for a train at Dworca Zachodnim, he was approached by two unknown men. Together they consumed alcohol and then attacked the victim, striking him repeatedly near the head and face. The robbers, aged 25 and 26, removed a wallet from the victim containing ID documents, cash, and €1700, and fled the scene.

Victim’s Account

The victim said the two men had known him only from that night and assaulted him in the same place where they had shared drinks, before taking his wallet and money.

Arrest and Investigation

Thanks to rapid police operations, the two suspects were apprehended the next day. They were interrogated in a police cell, admitted losing the stolen money at slot machines, and were charged under Article 280 § 1 of the Polish Penal Code (robbery). The court ordered their temporary detention for three months at the Polícia III – Ochota, Ursus, Włochy precinct.
