Woman Jumps from Overpass onto S7 Expressway

A 33-year-old woman is in serious condition after jumping from an overpass onto the S7 expressway near the Tarczyn-Północ junction on Tuesday afternoon, prompting a major emergency response.

Emergency Intervention at Tarczyn-Północ

The incident occurred before 1:30 PM on Tuesday, May 19, on the S7 route heading toward Warsaw. A 33-year-old woman jumped from an overpass onto the roadway below, triggering an immediate deployment of fire services, medical rescue teams, police, and an Air Ambulance (LPR) helicopter.

Medical Response and Transport

Upon arrival, emergency responders provided the victim with initial aid. Although the woman suffered serious fractures, she remained conscious and responsive. She was stabilized and subsequently airlifted by the LPR helicopter to a hospital in Warsaw.

Traffic Disruption and Police Investigation

The S7 route toward Warsaw was closed for the duration of the rescue operation and subsequent police technical investigations. Traffic was diverted toward Tarczyn and the old DK7 road until the expressway was reopened at approximately 3:30 PM. Police are currently working to determine the precise circumstances of the event.
