On Saturday (August 23), Marty Nawrocka attended the official opening of the IV Podkarpathian Women’s Football Festival in Tarnobrzeg. As the event’s honorary patron, she highlighted the beauty of the sport’s development among women, stating, “This exceptional event shows how beautifully this discipline is evolving. Sport is not only about competition—it is also friendship, joy, community, and enormous emotions.” She further noted, “Your passion, energy, and courage prove that football is not solely a men’s domain. You embody ambition, determination, and true team spirit.”

First Lady’s Priorities: Supporting the Vulnerable and Combating Cyberbullying

Days before her husband’s presidential swearing-in, Nawrocka expressed her intentions in an interview with “Rzeczpospolita.” She emphasized her focus on issues related to people with disabilities, their families, and educational equity for children and youth, particularly those with limited access to talent development. “I will place special emphasis on fighting hate. It must not be tolerated in public spaces, especially when it targets children. I also want to address online threats,” she added, stating her commitment to supporting her husband’s presidential mission.

Prosecution Launched Over Hate Speech Directed at First Lady’s Daughter

During the interview, Nawrocka announced her stance on combating hate. Her daughter, Kasia, became a target after a negative social media reaction to her display of the national flag at an election evening. Over 200 reports were submitted to the Ombudsman for Children’s Rights, and the prosecution initiated multiple investigations into hate speech on platforms including Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Onet forums.
