19 people evacuated after an unarmed grenade was found at a Ukraine-Poland border crossing in Dołhobyczów on Tuesday morning.

The event occurred on Tuesday, February 17, around 5:00 AM at the border crossing in Dołhobyczów, Hrubieszów County, Lublin Voivodeship, as confirmed by the Polish Press Agency (PAP), cited by TVP Info. Border Guard officials discovered an unarmed grenade in possession of one traveler.
A non-evacuation order was issued for 19 individuals: 14 bystanders, three service staff, and two Border Guard officers, according to Łukasz Chomczyński, duty officer at the Provincial Fire Command in Lublin, cited by “Kurier Lubelski”.
Investigation Underway
The individual found with the grenade, an Estonian citizen, was identified by TVP Info. Fire services were dispatched to secure the area, and police have taken over the investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident.
