A charity livestream organized by Polish influencer Łatwogang raised over 5 million złoty, with WK DZIK contributing the largest single donation.
Largest Donations Received
As of 8 PM on Sunday, April 26th, WK DZIK had donated the largest amount, totaling 5,000,215.67 złoty. Budimex, whose accountant is Łatwogang’s mother, contributed 3,011,174.13 złoty. Krzysztof Stanowski, creator of Kanał Zero, mobilized his business partners under the banner “Dobro wraca zen.com,” resulting in a donation of 2,797,995.49 złoty.
Tymbark donated 2.5 million złoty, while Kuchnia Vikinga, Wizi, Wydawnictwo Niezwykłe, Pitbull, Eveline Cosmetics, Erste Bank Polska, Apart, Neboa, XTB, ING, and Multisport/Zdrofit (jointly) each donated over 1 million złoty.
Individual Contributions
Rapper Bedoes made the largest individual donation, at 1,000,842.67 złoty, followed by Anna and Robert Lewandowski with a donation of 1,000,000 złoty.
The Łatwogang Campaign
The fundraiser was organized by influencer Patryk “Łatwogang” Garkowski on YouTube as a long-form livestream lasting nine days, beginning on April 17th. Participants joined online or visited the organizer at his apartment in Warsaw’s Praga district.
Celebrity Involvement and Gestures of Solidarity
The campaign featured participation from Dorota “Doda” Rabczewska, Robert Lewandowski, Adam Małysz, Cezary Pazura, and Roksana Węgiel. Several celebrities, including Edyta Pazura, Katarzyna Nosowska, and Blanka Lipińska, shaved their heads during the stream in solidarity with children battling cancer. Dawid Podsiadło, YouTuber Książulo, and rapper OKI also contributed.
Activities During the Livestream
Participants engaged in various live activities for their online audience, such as Roksana Węgiel performing with Andziaks, rapper Kubańczyk getting a tattoo created by a foundation beneficiary, and rapper Tede calling rapper Pei to resolve a long-standing conflict.
Origins of the Fundraiser
The charity drive was inspired by rapper Bedoes’ song “Ciągle tutaj jestem (diss na raka)” featuring Maja Mecan from the Cancer Fighters Foundation, raising awareness about childhood cancer. Łatwogang then challenged his followers to determine the livestream’s duration based on likes on a TikTok post, resulting in a nine-day stream.
