Kaczyński Discharged from Hospital: Spokesman Reveals Next Steps

PiS Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński left the hospital on Friday, February 6, after completing treatment and will coordinate party activities from home, according to spokesman Rafał Bochenek.

Kaczyński’s Health Status

“Party Chairman Jarosław Kaczyński left the hospital today following the completion of treatment for a recent illness. In accordance with medical recommendations, he will remain at home for the next few days. Despite recent ailments, our leader has been coordinating all PiS actions on an ongoing basis, and it will be no different now. We are working for Poland,” wrote Rafał Bochenek on Friday, February 6.

Reason for Hospitalization

It is worth recalling that the PiS spokesman informed the public about Kaczyński’s hospital stay on January 28. The stated reason was tests ordered due to an infection. According to reports from “Fakt,” unofficial sources spoke of pneumonia. “This is the season for illness in Poland. We assume everything will last a few days. It happens even to our leader. I warn against excessive emotions and unjustified conclusions. Everyone is acting according to plan,” Bochenek wrote at the time.

Return to Politics Depends on Doctors

During his hospitalization, the PiS chairman published one post regarding the case of Adam Andruszkiewicz. Bochenek assured in a Wednesday conversation with “Fakt” that the politician was kept fully informed and made decisions regarding the party. However, he noted that Kaczyński’s participation in next week’s Sejm sitting will depend on his health condition and his doctor’s recommendations.
