Kamiński’s Immunity Waived, Referral to European Parliament

Investigation into Former Anti-Corruption Chief

The Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Lublin is investigating actions taken between 2007 and 2009 by the former head of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau.

Investigators suspect potential abuse of power during operational and reconnaissance activities.

Prosecutor’s Findings Warrant Suspicion

On Tuesday, March 31st, the National Prosecutor’s Office stated that the collected evidence “sufficiently justifies suspicion” of two crimes committed by former CBA head and current MEP Mariusz Kamiński.

Referral to European Parliament

In response, Waldemar Żurek submitted a request to the President of the European Parliament for the waiver of Kamiński’s immunity.
