Unofficial visit to a fish fry
“Once again thank you for your trust. Once again we had the honor to host the President of the Czech Republic,” reads a post published by Sudecka Sma偶alnia Ryb on Facebook on Monday, August 3. The restaurant noted that such returns are the greatest compliment and proof that their quality and atmosphere are appreciated.
Vacation motorcycle trip near the border
The Czech president traveled through Poland during his vacation. “Nowa Trybuna Opolska” reported that the politician rode a motorcycle around the Polish-Czech border area. On Tuesday, the Czech president was already seen in Javorn铆k, where he also stopped at a restaurant and signed the guestbook.
Frequent presence near Kudowa-Zdr贸j
This was not the first visit of the Czech president to Kudowa-Zdr贸j, as residents had previously seen him at the local market and in shops. Pavel owns a house in 膶esk谩 膶ermn谩, which is located right next to the Polish border near the Brzozowie district of Kudowa.
Previous official visit to Poland
Pavel came to Poland on an official visit in 2023, where he met with then-Polish President Andrzej Duda. Their talks focused on the consequences of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and bilateral relations between Poland and the Czech Republic. Duda stated his hope for close cooperation in building the best possible Polish-Czech relations, including within NATO, the European Union, the Three Seas Initiative, and the Bucharest Nine.
