Nighttime Crash on Młynarska Street
A 37-year-old man’s nighttime drive ended with the damage of as many as 24 parked cars. The man was detained by police officers after he crashed his Skoda into a wall on Młynarska Street in Piaseczno. A breathalyzer test showed he had nearly 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system.
Around 2:20 AM, the duty officer at the Piaseczno County Police Headquarters received a report regarding a Skoda driver who hit a wall on Młynarska Street and then attempted to drive away. However, the car kept stalling, preventing him from continuing his journey.
Police Intervention and Arrest
The report indicated that the man might be under the influence of alcohol, prompting authorities to dispatch a police patrol to the location.
Officers detained the 37-year-old driver, who is a Polish citizen. A breathalyzer test confirmed he had nearly 1.5 per mille of alcohol.
Investigators established that during his dangerous drive, the man damaged a total of 24 parked vehicles.
Hospitalization and Investigation
The 37-year-old was arrested and is currently staying in a hospital under police supervision. Blood was also drawn from him for laboratory tests to check for the presence of intoxicants. His Skoda was secured and towed to a police impound lot.
Police once again appeal to drivers: if you drank, do not drive. Alcohol and driving is a combination that can have tragic consequences.
