North Praga police apprehended three Italian citizens, aged 20 and 23, after they were caught on city surveillance cameras spray-painting graffiti on the pillars of the Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge.
Caught in the Act
Following a tip from a municipal surveillance operator, police in North Praga detained three young men caught defacing the pillars of the Śląsko-Dąbrowski Bridge. Officers arriving at the scene discovered the trio in possession of several bags containing over a dozen spray paint canisters.
Surveillance and Expanded Investigation
The incident, which took place around 1:00 AM, was fully documented by city monitoring cameras, showing the suspects climbing the bridge structure to apply their tags. Subsequent investigations revealed that the same group had also vandalized a structure in the Śródmieście district the previous day.
Swift Legal Proceedings
Due to the temporary nature of the suspects’ stay in Poland, the individuals were brought before a court for an expedited trial. The court issued a fine against the three Italian nationals for the committed offenses.
