The Sequence of the Collision
On Friday morning, around 6:30 AM, a delivery van and a BMW collided, resulting in the van overturning. The impact forced the vehicles into a concrete utility pole, further damaging two parked cars, a Tesla and a Mercedes.
Casualties and Investigation
Preliminary findings indicate that the 49-year-old van driver failed to yield, causing the accident with the 33-year-old BMW driver. Fortunately, no one was injured, and both drivers were sober.
Consequences and Traffic Impact
Police fined the van driver 3,000 PLN for causing the collision. The incident caused localized traffic disruptions while fire crews and traffic police secured the scene, which has a history of dangerous accidents.
