– The cancer has spread, metastasized to the bones and beyond. It is very painful and, in many respects, debilitating – revealed Hunter Biden.

Involved in his father’s presidential campaign scandal and the protagonist of the famous “laptop from hell” story, Hunter Biden emphasized that the worsening illness of the former president is an “immensely difficult experience” for the family.

– My dad is still the center of our family to this day. He is the best father, the best husband, the best grandfather. I can say this much about his health: I wish he would complain more – said Hunter Biden.

Diagnosis and Medical Background

Biden will struggle with the tumor “for the rest of his life.”

His office reported in May of last year that the Democratic politician was diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer with bone metastases. Oncologists interviewed by American media speculated at the time that the disease could have developed unnoticed for years. The lump was discovered after Biden reported an “increase in urinary tract symptoms.”

In October, people close to Biden—who turns 84 this year—told journalists that he feels well and is responding positively to therapy. Since moving out of the White House in January of this year, he has been living in his home in Wilmington, Delaware.

Jill Biden Provides Details on Stage Four Diagnosis

A few days ago, former U.S. First Lady Jill Biden spoke about her husband’s health. In an interview with the “Today Show,” she said that Joe Biden will have to cope with stage four prostate cancer for the rest of his life.

– I think Joe will live with cancer for the rest of his life. If he had simply been diagnosed with prostate cancer, that would be one thing, because this cancer can be cured. But the fact that bone metastases have occurred completely changes the situation – said Jill Biden.

Public Life and Medical History

The former First Lady emphasized, however, that Biden remains active. He constantly participates in public events and works on a book.

In 2023, Biden’s physician, Kevin O’Connor, revealed that the then-president had a cancerous skin lesion on his chest. The cancer was successfully removed. In 2015, the president’s son, Beau, died of brain cancer.
