The PiS Directive on External Organizations
The Law and Justice (PiS) Political Committee passed a resolution on Wednesday requiring party members to resign from external associations, foundations, and political organizations. The move specifically targets groups like Mateusz Morawiecki鈥檚 “Rozw贸j Plus” and Jacek Sasin鈥檚 “Po pierwsze Polska.” Sasin has already confirmed the dissolution of his organization.
Morawiecki鈥檚 Defense of Rozw贸j Plus
Although absent from the Wednesday meeting, Morawiecki addressed the issue via social media. He stated that Rozw贸j Plus has become a vital platform for Poles to discuss the country鈥檚 future, prioritize development and security, and propose concrete solutions to national challenges.
Prioritizing Long-Term National Strategy
The former prime minister argued that citizens are weary of shallow political disputes. He emphasized that his association remains committed to addressing critical issues such as demographics, public finance, housing, and energy prices. Morawiecki declared that the organization鈥檚 primary mission remains building a “Great Poland” and that they must not lose sight of this goal amidst internal conflicts.
