Preparations are underway at the White House for the UFC Freedom 250 gala, with Polish President Karol Nawrocki invited to attend the event coinciding with Donald Trump’s 80th birthday.
UFC Freedom 250 and Presidential Celebrations
The UFC Freedom 250 gala is set to serve as part of the official 250th-anniversary celebrations of the United States. The event, organized by the leading mixed martial arts federation in collaboration with U.S. President Donald Trump, will take place alongside the president’s 80th birthday.
According to sources within the Presidential Palace, President Nawrocki received an invitation specifically for the American leader’s birthday celebration. The visit is categorized as private rather than an official state function.
White House Preparations
Advanced preparations for the gala are currently underway on the South Lawn of the White House. Previous reports indicated that the temporary arena is expected to accommodate approximately 4,000 spectators, with military personnel making up a significant portion of the guest list.
Diplomatic History and Bilateral Relations
President Nawrocki has visited the U.S. multiple times, including his first foreign visit after taking office on September 3, 2025, where he discussed security, the presence of U.S. troops in Poland, and energy cooperation with Donald Trump. Earlier, in May 2025, Nawrocki met with Trump in the Oval Office during a National Day of Prayer event, a move seen as a strong signal of political support.
The Presidential Palace maintains that the relationship between the two leaders is close and strategically vital for security. A notable example of this cooperation occurred when Trump personally intervened to reverse a decision to pause the rotation of U.S. troops, announcing the deployment of an additional 5,000 soldiers to Poland in a gesture of support for the Polish president.
