Radom Charity Fraud: 858 Victims Deceived by Fake Porsche Raffles

The Radom District Prosecutor’s Office has indicted two former spouses for defrauding 858 people across Poland of over 81,000 PLN through a fake foundation promising luxury car prizes.

Indictment in Radom

On May 14, 2026, the District Prosecutor’s Office in Radom filed an indictment with the District Court against Grażyna B. and Maciej B. The case involves fundraising campaigns conducted under the “Anonymous Donor Foundation,” which allegedly led 858 victims to lose a total of 81,439.48 PLN.

Deceptive Fundraising Tactics

The defendants were charged with fraud committed between February 2020 and December 2021. The schemes featured campaigns titled “Save little Ala and get a Porsche,” “Franek vs SMA1 win a Porsche,” and “Coronavirus for the victims.”

Investigation and Foundation Origins

The proceedings were initiated following a notification from the Mazovian Customs and Fiscal Office in Warsaw. Prosecutors established that the foundation, established in December 2019, was created for the purpose of committing fraud rather than conducting charitable activities.

The False Promise of a Luxury Car

Investigators determined that the accused did not own the 2016 Porsche Panamera they used as an incentive for donations. Furthermore, no funds were transferred to the children or individuals the campaigns claimed to support, with the defendants instead embezzling the collected money.

Legal Status of the Accused

Grażyna B. and Maciej B., both former board members of the foundation, have pleaded not guilty. The prosecutor imposed financial bail of 10,000 PLN and 15,000 PLN respectively. If convicted, they face a prison sentence ranging from six months to eight years.
