Fire Destroys Two Vehicles on Kosynierów Street

On the night of January 15, around 2:15 AM, a fire broke out involving two parked cars—a Volkswagen and an Audi—on Kosynierów Street in Marki (Wołomin county). Several fire brigades were dispatched to the scene, and after extinguishing the flames, the area was handed over to police.

Multiple Fire Units Respond to Emergency

The emergency call reported two vehicles burning on Kosynierów Street. Firefighters from JRG 15 in Warsaw, JRG Wołomin, and OSP Marki all responded to the scene. Upon arrival, they found both vehicles fully engulfed in flames.

Damage Limited to Specific Vehicle Sections

Firefighters successfully brought the fire under control quickly. The Volkswagen Passat sustained damage to its front section, while the Audi burned in its rear area and passenger compartment. After extinguishing the blaze, firefighters handed over the scene to police investigators.

Police Investigating Possible Arson

Wołomin police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the fire. While the official cause remains undetermined, residents have suggested possible arson, which police are now considering. Officers have completed documentation and are awaiting an expert opinion from a fire protection specialist to determine how the blaze started.
