Drunk Digger Operator Causes Collapse, Flees Into Forest

A 28‑year‑old digger driver in Łysica was arrested after driving off‑road with more than two percent alcohol, overturning the machine and fleeing into nearby forest on Nov 25.

At the end of November, officers from the Łysica Police Station detained the operator after discovering the overturned digger on the road.

Excessive Alcohol Levels Detected

A breath‑alyzer test confirmed the driver carried a concentration of over two promille, exceeding legal limits.

Legal Consequences Await

The arrested driver had already lost his driving licence and will soon face court proceedings, with a potential sentence of up to three years’ imprisonment.
