Tourists discovered an abandoned camper near Campo Imperatore in the Italian Apennines. Inside were a mobile phone, a rental agreement, and an ID belonging to 44‑year‑old Polish national Karol Brożek.

19 November: Last Surveillance Shot

The last footage of Brożek was recorded on 19 November, showing him leaving the vehicle accompanied by two other individuals. No subsequent records exist.

18 November: Final Family Contact

Sister Diana Brożek informed Italian media that Brożek last reached out to his family on 18 November, and has appealed for help in the search.

24 November: Camper Discovery and Police Report

Relatives learned the camper had been found on 24 November; the next day they reported the disappearance to police and notified the Polish Embassy in Italy.

Facebook Post Reveals Trip Intentions

On 31 October, Brożek posted on the Facebook page of the sea dogs school, Morskie Psy, stating he was not planning to return to Poland immediately and needed time for himself.
