A ground-floor apartment fire on Al. Lotników in Warsaw’s Mokotów district early Wednesday morning caused significant exterior damage and left one person injured, prompting a rapid response from five fire crews.
The Incident on Al. Lotników
On Wednesday at 5:56 a.m., a fire broke out in a ground-floor apartment at Al. Lotników 20. Flames were visible from outside the building, erupting directly from the unit’s windows.
Damage to Property
The fire quickly spread to the apartment’s balcony. The intensity of the flames and high temperatures damaged two adjacent balconies, while the building’s facade and staircase were left blackened by smoke.
Emergency Response and Medical Update
Five fire units were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the blaze and secure the area. One person sustained a leg injury but received medical treatment on-site and did not require hospitalization.
