Husband Attacks Wife with Sharp Tool at Tailor Shop

Police intervened at a tailoring shop in Toruń following reports of bodily harm. Initial findings suggest a marital dispute escalated within the establishment.

According to Police Officer Dominika Bocian, the incident occurred around 9:00 AM on Wednesday, April 15th.

Violent Altercation and Barricade

Reports from RMF FM indicate the husband of a female employee arrived at the tailoring shop and engaged in a violent argument with his wife.

The man allegedly repeatedly wounded the woman with a sharp tool. She managed to escape and call for help.

Upon arrival, police found the man had barricaded himself inside the shop.

Injured Parties Hospitalized, Investigation Ongoing

Both the woman and the man sustained bodily injuries and were transported to the hospital. The man was subdued by officers from the Rapid Response Group.

The legal classification of the act will be determined after the collection of evidence, according to Officer Bocian. The cause and circumstances of the event are still under investigation.
