A motorcyclist was airlifted to a Warsaw hospital on Friday evening after losing control on a curve and colliding with safety barriers in Chotomów, Legionowo County.
The Incident in Chotomów
On Friday, May 29, around 8:00 PM, a serious traffic accident occurred in Chotomów, Jabłonna municipality. The motorcyclist lost control of the vehicle while navigating a curve on Ojca Augustyna Kordeckiego Street, near the intersection with Cedrowa Street, and struck the road barriers.
Emergency Response and Medical Evacuation
Authorities were notified of the crash at 8:04 PM. Local fire department units, emergency medical services, police, and an Air Ambulance (LPR) crew were dispatched to the scene. Witnesses provided initial assistance, followed by personnel from the Chotomów Volunteer Fire Department (OSP).
Operations at the Scene
Emergency responders provided medical treatment on-site before the victim was transported by helicopter to a hospital in Warsaw. Two fire brigades from JRG Legionowo and OSP Chotomów secured the site and assisted law enforcement. The road remained blocked while emergency services operated.
