A young off-duty police officer died in a collision between his motorcycle and an Opel passenger car on Puławska Street in Piaseczno on Friday morning, despite attempts to save him.
The Fatal Collision
On Friday, May 29, shortly after 7:00 AM, a fatal accident occurred at the intersection of Puławska and Łabędzia streets in Piaseczno. A car, identified as an Opel, collided with a motorcycle while the driver was changing lanes.
Emergency Response and Victim Identity
Emergency services arrived at the scene and attempted resuscitation, but the motorcyclist could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the site. It was confirmed that the victim was a Warsaw police officer who was off-duty and riding his private motorcycle at the time of the crash.
Investigation and Traffic Impact
Police officers, firefighters, and a prosecutor conducted an investigation at the scene to collect evidence and determine the exact circumstances of the incident. Traffic flow was restricted during the operation, with only one lane remaining open in the direction of Góra Kalwaria.
