Following his controversial praise of Spanish migration policies and a sharp rebuke from the Presidential Palace, a public poll reveals how voters currently evaluate Włodzimierz Czarzasty’s performance as Deputy Marshal of the Sejm.
Czarzasty’s Migration Policy Proposal
On May 11, during the Polish-Spanish Parliamentary Forum in the Senate, Deputy Marshal Włodzimierz Czarzasty cited Spanish migration policy as a model for Poland. He argued that Spain successfully treats migrants as an opportunity for economic and national development, suggesting Poland could learn from their approach.
Official Reaction from the Presidential Palace
The remarks drew a harsh critique from presidential spokesperson Rafał Leśkiewicz. Appearing on wPolsce24 television, Leśkiewicz claimed Czarzasty fails to grasp the current landscape of international security risks and noted that President Karol Nawrocki explicitly opposes adopting Spanish-style legalization solutions.

In a survey conducted by our outlet, 68.43 percent of 1,856 participants rated Czarzasty’s performance as Deputy Marshal positively. Conversely, 30.33 percent expressed a negative view, while 1.24 percent remained undecided.
