Cyclist and E-Scooter Rider Collide Head-On in Warsaw

A serious accident involving a cyclist and an e-scooter rider occurred on Tuesday evening, April 28th, on Prymasa Tysiąclecia Avenue in Warsaw.

Collision Details

On Tuesday, April 28th, around 9 PM, a serious accident took place on Prymasa Tysiąclecia Avenue near Las na Kole in Wola, Warsaw, involving a cyclist and a man riding an electric scooter.

Initial findings indicate that the cyclist and the e-scooter rider were traveling in opposite directions on the bicycle path running alongside Prymasa Tysiąclecia Avenue when they collided head-on.

Post-Impact and Injuries

Following the collision, the e-scooter rider crashed into a roadside lamppost. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene.

The 43-year-old e-scooter rider was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Sobriety Checks and Investigation

Police checked the sobriety of the 32-year-old cyclist, and the test showed he was not under the influence of alcohol. A blood sample was taken from the other participant for analysis.

Police are conducting procedures to determine the exact course of events, causes, and circumstances of the accident.
