Drunk Ukrainian Citizen Causes Collision with Electric Ford

A 32-year-old Ukrainian national, with a blood alcohol content exceeding 1.7‰, caused a traffic accident in Żyrardów on April 26th.

Incident Details

On Sunday, April 26th, shortly after 9:00 PM, Żyrardów police received a report of a traffic incident on Orlika Street in Żyrardów. Police determined that the driver of a Skoda, a 32-year-old Ukrainian citizen, failed to yield the right-of-way and collided with a Ford driven by a 38-year-old resident of Korytowo.

Alcohol Level and Injuries

A breathalyzer test revealed the driver’s blood alcohol content to be over 1.7‰. Fortunately, no one was injured in the collision.

Legal Consequences

The 32-year-old driver now faces legal charges for causing the traffic accident and for driving under the influence. Even without injuries, driving under the influence is considered a criminal offense punishable by up to three years in prison.

Authorities remind the public that driving under the influence poses a deadly threat to all road users and carries severe legal consequences, including criminal liability and loss of driving privileges.
