The Otwock duty officer received a report regarding an aggressive man at a local hospital. Information indicated the 27-year-old threatened medical staff with death while holding large scissors. Patrols were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Despite the rapid response, the perpetrator had left the facility before officers arrived. Officers questioned witnesses, established a description of the suspect, and began a dynamic search of the surrounding area.
Attempted Carjacking
Further investigation revealed the man fleeing the hospital desperately attempted to obtain transportation. Upon seeing a BMW, he approached and demanded the keys from the driver, threatening them with scissors.
Thanks to the driver’s firm stance – refusing to open the doors and locking the vehicle – the assailant failed to steal the car and continued his escape on foot.
Arrest and Charges
After a short pursuit, police located the 27-year-old. He became even more aggressive upon seeing the officers, actively attacking them with scissors.
