Joint Operation Targets Illegal Immigrants
Police from the Warsaw IV District Police Headquarters and the Bemowo Police Station, supported by the Vistula River Border Guard Unit, conducted control operations to identify foreigners illegally staying in Poland.
Officers checked designated addresses, temporary residences, and locations where individuals might be evading authorities.
Seven Detained in Warsaw Districts
On Tuesday, operations were carried out in the Wola and Bemowo districts, resulting in the detention of seven individuals and the identification of 93 people.
Four individuals were detained for violating residency procedures: a citizen of Armenia, two citizens of Azerbaijan, and a citizen of Colombia.
Warrants and Drug Seizure
A 32-year-old citizen of Belarus and a 23-year-old citizen of Uzbekistan were also detained as wanted persons for location and transfer to the nearest correctional facility.
During the control of a seventh individual, a 40-year-old citizen of Ukraine, police discovered amphetamine.
Increased Security Measures
These actions aim to increase the safety of residents in both districts and remove individuals violating legal residency regulations from public spaces.
Police regularly conduct operational and control activities to detect illegal stays, prevent crime, and enhance public safety.
Collaboration Key to Success
Authorities emphasize that cooperation and engagement among all security services are crucial for combating these violations.
