A 41-year-old Radom resident is in custody after allegedly stabbing a 33-year-old man during a dispute in a garage on April 11th.
Incident at a Garage in Radom
On Saturday, April 11th, Radom police responded to a report of an assault at a garage on one of the city’s housing estates.
The incident occurred while a group of acquaintances were consuming alcohol together, leading to an argument between two of them.
Stabbing and Hospitalization
During the altercation, one man allegedly took a knife and stabbed the 33-year-old victim in the chest area.
The injured man was transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
Police Investigation and Arrests
Radom police immediately launched an investigation, detaining four men aged 22 to 59 for questioning.
Hours later, officers arrested the 41-year-old suspect, who was found intoxicated, at a residence within the city.
Charges and Detention
After sobering up, the 41-year-old was taken to the Radom Wschód District Prosecutor’s Office and charged with attempted murder and causing bodily harm.
The suspect has a prior criminal record. A court has ordered him held in a three-month pre-trial detention.
Potential Sentence
The man faces a potential prison sentence ranging from 10 years to life imprisonment.
